Position summary
Introduction
Job description
· Ensure safety of Launch Vessel, Passengers, Cargo & people aboard whilst at Sea.
· Assist Shore Skipper in maintenance and preventative maintenance to insure sea worthiness of launch vessels.
· Revise & Submit delivery notes and ensure that the correct information has been capture on delivery note.
Minimum requirements
· Grade 12
· 5 years working experience as a skipper
· Worked as a Launch Skipper will be an added advantage
· Under 25 Ton Skipper ticket
· Strong communication skills
· Basic Safety, Firefighting and survival certificate
· Radio communication certificate (CRAN)
· Good knowledge & understanding of OHSE systems and the requirements
· Namibian
