The Company currently has an opportunity for an experienced Cost and Management Accountant (C5) the position reports to the Financial Manager and is based in Walvis Bay.
Job description

  • Cost management and control (cost allocation, cost estimation, cost behaviors analysis))
  • Evaluate effective resource allocation to ensure operational improvement (including variance analysis)
  • Planning & Budgeting (preparation of forecast and budget packs, including Hyperion);
  • Perform monthly cost variance analysis (identify deviations & ensure effectiveness of cost control measures)
  • Evaluate projects and consider cost effectiveness of buying decisions (ROI, buy-back etc.)

Minimum requirements

  • BCom or other relevant degree
  • Completed articles at an audit firm / or relevant in field experience
  • MS Office is essential
  • Computer literacy with sound knowledge of Acumatica & Hyperion;
  • Good knowledge & understanding of OHSE systems and the requirements
  • 5-8 years related experience is essential
  • Experience in the logistics industry will be a distinct advantage;
  • Namibian
