Introduction

The Group currently has an opportunity for a disciplined, self-driven, responsive, and experienced Project Lead, based in Walvis Bay. This position will report directly to the ICT Manager.
Job description
- Collaborating with team members from various disciplines to ensure alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Verifying the quality and compliance of project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Generating status reports through data gathering, analysis, and summarization of pertinent information.
- Creating effective project communication plans and ensuring their implementation.
- Assisting in managing change requests to keep all stakeholders informed about potential impacts on schedule and budget.
- Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other necessary documents to support a successful implementation and handover of processes or systems to clients.
- Identifying and cultivating new opportunities with key stakeholders.
- Securing customer acceptance of project deliverables.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction during the project transition phase.
- Conducting post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Project Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Project Management Certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of Five Years experience in project management.
- Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication skills.
- Comprehensive Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Proficient in Data Analysis techniques and tools.
- Basic Understanding of the freight logistics and marine services industries.
- Strong Grasp of IT terminology and processes.
- Must be a Namibian Citize
