Primary Purpose: To provide administration and service support to the HR Function, with emphasis on Recruitment, Engagement, Employee Relations, Terminations, HR Data and Compliance.
Job description

Key Tasks: (included but not limited to)

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and events.
  • Assist with termination of all employees and perform administrative duties associated with termination
  • Perform administrative duties for employee relations matters
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HR information system
  • Assist with compliance activities, including ensuring the organization's compliance with employment laws and regulations.                                
  • Coordinate HR projects and initiatives, including tracking progress, creating reports, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers, answering employee inquiries and concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Law or related field (3 years)
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in similar role
  • Alternatively, Grade 12 or AS Level with a minimum five (5) years’ experience in similar role
  • Any HR Certification will be an advantage.
  • Experience in Logistics Sector will be an advantage
  • Experience in an HR Information Systems (Sage People, etc.) will be an advantage
  • Namibian Citizen
