Introduction
Manica Group Namibia (MGN) recently marked their 99th year footprint in the logistics industry, with our purpose focused on providing Simplified Cargo Movement solutions. As a critical link in this industry, we are committed to being quality conscious, transparent and results driven. MGN is seeking to appoint a suitable qualified Chief Financial Officer (CFO) (E1) as a strategic business-partner and reporting to the Managing Director (MD) of MGN. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative executive and will lead an internal team (Finance, ICT, Projects and Legal & Compliance) to support the following areas: operating pillars (business units) of Port Services, Logistics and Trading & Energy and Support Services (Information Technology & Human Resources) business areas. The CFO will guide and manage the overall provision of finance support services, policies, and programs for the entire MGN. The Chief Financial Officer will have overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy and is expected to analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings with the most profitable outcomes.

·       Management of the Finance and Credit Operations
·       Manage the Financial Risk of Manica Group Namibia
·       Meet Financial Objectives Set for the Finance Division
·       Manage Manica Group Namibia Local Content performance
·       Manage a robust Compliance Office 
·       Manage the Business Excellence project office

Minimum requirements

·       Minimum 8 years as a qualified CA (Nam)(SA).
·       Minimum 3 years as CFO or FD of an organisation.
·       Sound people management and team leadership. 
·       Must know and be familiar with the relevant legislation/s.
·       Experience in ICT and Project management is an advantage.
·       Knowledge of relevant local and international legislation.
·       Namibian Citizen
