We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our team in the position of Finance Manager.
Job description

Duty Station: Walvis Bay, Namibia
Reporting To: Finance Director
 
The successful candidate will contribute to the company’s success by managing the financial resources of the business in accordance with our purpose, goals and culture whilst ensuring long-term sustainability and success.

The key performance areas will be financial planning, financial management, financial reporting, compliance and leadership.

Minimum requirements

Key Requirements for success in this role are;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with completed Articles.
  • Chartered Accountant Qualification will be an added advantage
  • 8 years post-qualification experience in Finance environment of which 3 years should be in a similar role.
  • Experience in the logistics industry will be a distinct advantage;
  • Computer literacy with sound knowledge of Acumatica, Financial modelling software and tools and MS Office is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge Legislation: Income Tax, VAT, Accounting Standards, Labour Act
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, communication, financial acumen, business acumen and execution excellence.                        
  • Namibian citizenship
