The Company currently has an opportunity for an experienced Creditors Clerk the position reports to the Senior Creditors Controller and is based in Walvis Bay. The creditors clerk will be responsible for maintaining the company's AP function. They are tasked with liaising with suppliers, operations & accountants to ensure all supplier transactions are captured & paid in line with company policies & procedures.
Job description

  • Processing of creditors information
  • Creditors reconciliations and payments;
  • Plan monthly payment runs,
  • Weekly management of outstanding PO lists
  • Keeping record of related parties transactions.
  • Comply with the requirements of the quality management system, policies & procedures.
  • Various ad hoc accounting duties.

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Bookkeeping or other relevant qualification (an added advantage);
  • 3-5 Years’ experience is essential;
  • Experience in the logistics industry will be a distinct advantage;
  • Computer literacy with sound knowledge of Acumatica and MS Office is essential;
  • Booking principals.                                         
  • Attention to detail.                                          
  • Handle pressure.                                            
  • Meeting all deadlines.                                    
  • Can communicate within the team & contribute to the overall success of the team by being a team player.                                    
  • Adaptable as this is a constantly changing environment.                                         
  • Namibian citizenship.
