Introduction
Walvis Bay Stevedoring is an equal opportunity employer with offices based in Walvis Bay and Luderitz Bay. The Company currently has a vacant position and is looking for an appropriately qualified Admin Supervisor (C2), (based in Walvis Bay) to join its ranks as soon as possible.
Job description

  • Maintenance of expense budget for all divisions
  • Manage and control customer service level agreements and contracts
  • Compile and present statistical information / record keeping
  • Managing & reconciling stock in storage
  • Co-ordinate Debtors
  • Ensure invoicing is done on time, and WIP processing is done timeously
  • Assist with invoicing to ensure completeness of revenue
  • Ensure debtors and cash accounts are in accordance with agree credit terms
  • Co-ordinate Creditor Reconciliations
  • Ensure Vendor application process is completed and activated in all required systems
  • Ensure payments and ROE are released timeously and correct
  • Manage and maintain the Quality Management System
  • Mitigate errors and omissions            
  • Ensure all finance reports are captured and reported timeously and correct
  • Co-ordinate with Finance to ensure accurate and timeous reporting
  • Ensure Fixed assets are maintained, and the register is accurate
  • Supervising employees in the administration function of the company
  • Manage jarrison of all employees

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Bookkeeping
  • Driver license
  • Acumatica
  • Jarrison
  • Supervisory Experience
  • 5 years’ experience with accounting exposure
  • Namibian citizenship.
