With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency, our runner will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our company, facilitating the flow of materials, documents, and information.
Job description
- Ensure documents are delivered to customs/customers and service providers timeously.
- Arrange customs inspections, keep customs acquittals and bond record up to date.
- Follow-up by customs for the documents to be released and collected on time.
- Deliver/Collect documents - any shipment related inspections and any other protocol to be obtained.
- Deliver/Collect parcels with customs documents & obtain relevant signatures.
- Adhoc duties as may be required.
Minimum requirements
- Namibian Citizen
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer Literate (Microsoft office)
- Systems Exposure: Asycuda World and EDI Cargowise.
- 1 – 2 years’ freight, cargo, customs and forwarding experience.
- Knowledge in sea and air freight industry.
